Transmitting parallel data in that amount you intend, with such fast drivers, not using any symmetrical signal transmission is the best way to allure trouble.
I did go through half a dozen of pdfs on EMI and things like that. It was quite useful and made me perform some critical changes in the design, but taking into consideration the fact that the last sign I made was connected to PC paralell port using a 25 pin some 5m long flat cable makes me think -though not proffessional- that EMI is (sort of) not a very severe problem in here. Of course there's been a couple of precautions done in carrying the paralell signals from the mainboard to the drivers, things like having connected every other wire of the flat to GND on both sides. In my last projects, the signals comming from PC paralell port were responsible for such critical tasks like writing into the flash and althogh the entire design sufferred from some "brute force" problems, it did work.
