Hi,
Huh?! You mean I should pay for eight 50x50cm six-layer boards? It's bloody expensive. I compensates all our calculations ... everything we gained in migating to non-mux. In the mux approach I have a ~15x15cm motherboard, eight 40x5cm driverboards (attatched to the back of LED boards using male-female connectors) and 8 40x40 one-layer LED boards(which are damn cheap). Here the difference in the price of one-layer LED boards and multi-layer ones ruins everything.
The 2221a has constant current outputs, thus no 8 resistors are required ... Adjusted for IMAX of LED with REXT? ... Okay Iout = ( Pd – VDD.IDD) / ( # outputs.Vo.Duty )
Ok, if you want to be picky, you save 7 resistors, not 8.
No, no no I didn't intend to. I just wanted to make sure that the value of the R
EXT resistor is determined by considering I
max of the LEDs while having in mind the equation implying the Pd.
TI l/f converter and regulate intensity by PWM on OE
You mean Voltage to Freq. converter on /OE of ST, don't you.
Best.
