It's no fun if the original poster persists in his point of view, even if it has been found out, that the design is not the best, to tell it friendly, and if the orginal poster quits relevant critizism with the statement, that he is not 'serial thinking'. In such a case, we are far away from a true discussion, in order to find an optimum solution. And yes, it seems a bit, like Erik mentioned, that original poster does only start this thread to get a confirmation of what he is doing. Transmitting parallel data, unfiltered, over a meter long flat ribbon cable is so critical, that I would never take this option into first consideration. I would like to see him making the CE radiation tests... I would always try to check, whether a serial transmission with slew rate controlled and symmetrical working transcievers is possible. Kai |
