I think it's nothing to do with drivers driving LEDs. Think of the four 74HC595 and ULN2804 per each 32 x 32 matrix module. LED ground and digital ground are connected together at each chip. So, the LED current will also influence digital ground of the 74HC595 and ULN2804. Even little inductivity can cause unsane 'inductive kicks' due to the high LED current and especially if the LEDs are turned on/off by fast edges... Kai |
