Thanks Farshid. I was wrong. I wish you could put some more light on "soft start". Any simple and practical way for implementing it in a system using PC power supply?

and PC power supplys are not guranteed to deliver 30 A at 5v even the ones who rated 400W
Once I heard something about reinforcing PC power supplys using a few components (maybe a TO3 transistor plus a couple of other components). Do you happen to know anything about this? 5v will be used as VLED hence it's not very important to have a very "exact" 5v.
