Kai HC595s have their own isolated Vcc and GND. The signal GND and LED GND meet each other just in one place: where they branch from the power supply. Even at that point there can't be much interference because Vcc is "made from" 12v passed through a ferrite bead, then regulated by 7805 and then fed to half a dozen 1nF to 100uF multilayer and/or tantalium caps. And for the ULN ... I think it's nothing but 8 darlingtons, so it's not very bounce sensitive. ULN is connected to VLED and GNDLED not Vcc and GND of course. Best. |
